Messa red – a gentle medium-sweet red wine, similar to a light port, blending local Holy Land grapes with Carignan and Alicante grapes from the Mediterranean plains west of Jerusalem. The wine is produced by special request for the Anglican Church in the UK.
Cremisan altar wines are certified by the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem for celebration of the Eucharist. They are pure wines produced in accordance with the Code of Canon Law 1983, Canon 924: “For validity, the wine used at Mass must be made from the fruit of the vine, natural and pure, unmixed with anything else".
Messa is pure wine: not fortified with spirit. 11% vol
Messa is sold only by the case of 12 bottles (two boxes of 6 bottles). The minimum order is for two cases (24 bottles).
